Ben White extends Brighton contract as he heads on loan to Leeds

Championship outfit Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Wolves winger Helder Costa, opening the door wider for Rangers to secure Ryan Kent.

The 18-year-old winger has put pen to paper on a contract with Spurs which runs until 2023.

The France worldwide has made the move from Lyon in a club-record deal for Tottenham, putting pen to paper on a six-year contract after an agreement was reached over a €60m (plus €10m in add-ons) transfer fee.

Spurs have come to believe that despite late interest from Manchester United, Ndombele wants to join them.

Named Leeds' Young Player of the Year in 2018/19, Jack featured as a substitute on a number of occasions in the closing weeks of the season, including both legs of the Whites' Championship play-off semi-final clash with Derby County.

Costa began his career at Benfica and had loan spells at Deportivo La Coruna and Monaco before Wolves paid a then club record fee of £13million to sign him in 2016 after an initial loan spell.

Champions League runners-up Spurs, who didn't spend a penny last season, previously set their transfer record with the signing of Colombia global defender Davinson Sanchez for £36m in 2017.

The move became permanent a year ago.

The 25-year-old played 30 times for Wolves in the 2019-20 season, scoring 2 goals and making 2 assists.

Costa also added that he is delighted to have joined Leeds and insists he is looking forward to start training with his new team-mates ahead of the upcoming season.
