Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Meet The Red Sox Before London Game

Meghan has only made a handful of public appearances since giving birth to Archie in May and the couple met players from both teams before walking out with members of their charity for the ceremonial first pitch.

The match at the London Stadium is between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees.

Meghan Markle just broke her maternity leave to watch the New York Yankees face off against the Boston Red Sox during London's first-ever Major League Baseball game with Prince Harry.

For her part, Meghan wore a Stella McCartney LBD with a waist-cinching belt and a pair of black, pointed-toe flats by Aquazzura. The group was all smiles, and Meghan also dished out hugs to some of the players-a breach of royal protocol, which has become expected of the popular and seemingly more modern royal couple.

Harry and Meghan strolled to the mound at London Stadium along with 10 participants in the Invictus Games.

The first regular Major League Baseball games to be played in Europe are expected to open up previously untapped markets for the organisation, which has already staged worldwide events in Mexico, Japan, Australia and Puerto Rico.

Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games for wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and veterans from all over the globe to compete in various competitions.

It was the first of a two-match series between two of the sport's biggest hitters.
