Amazon Prime Day Is Coming July 15!

A Prime subscription not only lets you access Prime Day deals, but also a bunch of Amazon services, like Prime Video and Prime Music. Along with giving shoppers two days of discounted shopping, Amazon says it will offer one million deals and offer discounts in 18 countries, including nations that didn't have Prime Day a year ago, like the United Arab Emirates. Like previous years, the best deals usually feature Amazon's own products, like the Amazon Fire TV and the Echo smart speaker. Amazon will be offering over 1 million deals worldwide during this year's Prime Day sale.

And this year will be the longest Prime Day event ever, running for 48 hours - up from 36 hours last year.

If you want to get ahead of the game this Prime Day, set up a wishlist and stay on top of upcoming sales by watching for your preferred deals. Amazon said it plans to offer the "biggest Prime Day deals ever on Alexa-enabled devices" this year, although it didn't specify the prices or deals. In an email press release sent, Amazon revealed that Prime Day 2019 will take place on July 15 and July 16.

In addition to this, Prime Day members get 10% instant discount with HDFC Bank Debit and Credit Cards, unlimited reward points with Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card plus No Cost EMI on credit/debit cards and Bajaj Finserv EMI cards. Amazon's Prime program already has more than 100 million subscribers, CNN reports.

According to global payments provider Payoneer, marketplaces other than Amazon generally see a bit of a decline in sales during the summer months, with 2018 seeing an average drop of 4 per cent in sales around July.

It offers steep discounts on a variety of products, similar to a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale. Many brick-and-mortar retailers are struggling to keep their footing amid Amazon's growing market share and changing consumer tastes.

The company appears to be taking the marketing of Prime Day very seriously. Prime is increasingly important to Amazon, as members tend to purchase more items and more frequently.
