Knicks considering making surprise pick at No. 3?

The New Orleans Pelicans are trying to create a possible dynasty with two prominent players in the NBA Draft.

The team has its eye on Vanderbilt guard Darius Garland with that pick.

The Pelicans now have the #1 and #4 pick in the 2019 Draft, but Barrett is expected to be gone before that second pick. However, the Knicks are reportedly working out Garland on Wednesday and considering taking him at No. 3.

The Celtics, though, are not the only team interested in trading up to No. 4.

The Pelicans reportedly agreed to one of the biggest trades in National Basketball Association history last weekend when they sent star Anthony Davis to the Lakers in exchange for Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and three first-round picks, including the No. 4 selection in 2019.

As for the Timberwolves' and Bulls' interest, both of those teams are in need of point guard help and Garland would certainly give them that.

They could flip that pick in order to move up for Barrett and they're also considering moving back, according to a report from ESPN.

The only trade that really worked out in the Bulls favor once sending All-Star Jimmy Butler to Minnesota for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and the No. 7 overall pick that turned out to be Lauri Markkenen was one to remember.
