Taylor Swift Drops Star-Studded 'You Need to Calm Down' Music Video

Taylor Swift just dropped her new music video today (17 June) for You Need To Calm Down and it seems nobody is remaining calm about it.

The Get ready for it singer brought many other celebs like Ellen DeGeneres, Adam Lambert, Ryan Reynolds, Laverne Cox, Dexter Mayfield, Ciara, RuPaul, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Justin Mikita, Billy Porter, Todrick Hall, Hayley Kiyoko, Chester Lockhart, Adam Rippon, and Hannah Hart on board for the video.

In the video, Perry and Swift reunite amid a food fight-Swift is dressed as a box of French fries and Perry dons a hamburger costume.

"[Katy] and I have really been on good terms for a while", Swift told the U.K.'s Capital Breakfast radio show about putting an end to their feud previous year.

It follows the release on Thursday of her pro-LGBT song You Need to Calm Down and a surprise performance at New York's gay landmark Stonewall Inn on Friday.

'This meal is BEEF-free, ' Katy captioned her post.

Swift ended the video with a message: "Let's show our pride by demanding that, on a national level, our laws truly treat all of our citizens equally".

This week went pretty well for Taylor Swift (and her fans).

The song featured several nods to the LGBTQ community, including the lyric, 'And control your urges to scream about all the people you hate / 'Cause shade never made anybody less gay'.

Swift, who has more than 118 million Instagram followers, has been stepped into politics in 2018 by supporting two Democrats running in USA congressional elections in Tennessee.
