Ubisoft announces Uplay+ Service | PC

Ubisoft will also bring its subscription service to Google Stadia in 2020. After a short test period in January, the project ended and Google kept pretty quiet about its future game streaming ... As per the release Uplay+ will feature over 100 games including new and old titles plus access to premium edition content and additional DLC.

Uplay Plus is an extension of Ubisoft's already established Uplay game storefront. Subscribers will be granted premium access to the games, meaning they'll get everything the game has to offer that was ever released.

Ubisoft also revealed the price for its new subscription service.

Uplay+ will launch on September 3, and signing up before August 15 will get you a free trial period through September 30. "Uplay +, we offer everyone greater freedom, making it even easier to access our vast catalog of games", said Brenda Panagrossi, vice president of Platform and Product Management.

It's also worth noting: new games like Breakpoint will launch on Uplay+ in their fanciest form.

Ubisoft's plan is far more expensive than rival services.

Chief among them are Ubisoft's newest releases.

"The video game industry is constantly shifting, and our players' needs are evolving". Say you've completed the main campaign of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but decided not to pick up the Season Pass, and missed out on The Legacy of the First Blade and Fate of Atlantis story arcs. "For example, the Ghost Recon Breakpoint Ultimate Edition is a $120 value, and Uplay+ subscribers will have access to it as part of their subscription".
