Marvel's Jessica Jones: Dark final season hits Netflix June 14

For now, we have both the first look at the final Jessica Jones season and a release date; with all episodes arriving on Friday 14 June.

In a new, brief teaser trailer for Jessica Jones' third and final season, a deranged sociopath who sees Jessica as a fraud has the investigator set in his sights. When Jessica Jones Season 3 hits Netflix on June 14th, it'll mark the end of an era.

A similarly brief press release on the subject notes that Jessica and Trish must unite in order to take down "a highly intelligent psychopath" and hopefully fix their friendship in the process.

Netflix's final Marvel series is wrapping up very soon. The rest of the cast is fleshed out by Eka Darville, Benjamin Walker, Jeremy Bobb, Sarita Choudhury, Tiffany Mack, Jessica Frances Dukes, Aneesh Sheth and Rebecca DeMornay. However, their strained relationship will still be an issue, and they'll suffer a devastating loss that illuminates their differences on matters of heroism.

Netflix has pulled the plug on Jessica Jones, but is it possible that it could find a new life on some other streaming service or network? Hopefully the fact that the third season was still in development when the show was cancelled means that Jessica Jones will have some kind of suitable resolution as well.

Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg had already announced that she'd be leaving Jessica Jones after Season 3 before the show was cancelled, so this wrap up actually works rather nicely.
