Bears-Raiders game in London set for Oct

The global slate of games will kickoff on October 6 at 1pm ET, as the Oakland Raiders "host" the Chicago Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It will be the Bears' second London game. The Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will head to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the following week for a game that will kickoff at 9:30am ET.

The Dolphins' opponents at Hard Rock Stadium in 2019 will include the other three AFC East teams, as well as the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins.

The Bears released the details of their London game against the Raiders on Wednesday morning, in advance of their full schedule announcement at 7 p.m. on NFL Network.

National Football League owners passed a resolution in 2014 that requires teams that are part of a successful Super Bowl bid to play one home game overseas within the next five seasons.

The league has hosted games in London since 2007, striking a deal with English soccer club Tottenham Hotspur to use its stadium for games twice a year for 10 years.

The following weekend - on Sunday, November 3 - will see the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, a franchise that is considering a permanent move to London, finish the European fixtures for the season.

The Carolina-Tampa Bay matchup is the second contest in this year's global series. He is a 2014 graduate of Arizona State University and grew up in Sacramento, California.
