Borderlands 3 gets its first trailer at PAX East

Added Firepower: A new set of six named, custom-skinned Legendary weapons make the base game's arsenal even deeper.

Update: While we await more details about this next Borderlands game, Randy Pitchford demoed Tiny Tina's Robot Tea Party card game, the first board game to use the Borderlands license.

It's that same original Borderlands that will be arriving in the new Game of the Year Edition on April 3. The announcement of Borderlands GOTY Edition isn't necessarily surprising, as we've seen countless sources confirm its existence, most recently with an ESRB rating for the game.

But anyway, Gearbox will reveal more details about Borderlands 3 on April 3rd so stay tuned for more!

The Borderlands 3 reveal begins at 11am PT on March 28 (11:30pm IST).

After years of waiting, and an increasing number of teases leading up to Gearbox Software's PAX East 2019 keynote, a new Borderlands has been teased, and we're expecting to hear more soon. While Borderlands fans got to explore the early days of series antagonist Handsome Jack in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and ancillary adventures in Telltale's Tales from the Borderlands, Borderlands 3 is the first official sequel to the fan-favorite open-world space Western series since 2012's Borderlands 2.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Borderlands 2 aren't the only Borderlands games getting 4K makeovers next week.

No release date has been given for Borderlands 3. The remaster will bring the game to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with support for Ultra High Definition graphics and HDR. A PC is a PC - who cares which store you get your games from?
