Gaga impressed fans with Enigma concert debut

Lady Gaga gave an emotional speech about feeling "misunderstood" at the opening show of her Las Vegas residency on Friday (28.12.18).

She then had a quick outfit change, which saw the star dressed in a green ruffled dress, sat in an egg shaped chair - giving the illusion of the birth of her alien character.

There's a lot of influence that went into the production of the show, including Gaga's own fascination with hologram singer Hatsune Miku, as well as her current obsession with the video game Bayonetta.

When the residency was announced in August, it was revealed that Enigma is one of two new shows that Gaga will perform during her 27-performance residency.

Audience members immediately tracked songs and costumes on social media as Gaga floated onto the stage (over Katy Perry) in the Park Theater of the Monte Carlo Hotel.

Ziggy might have played guitar, but the Bad Romance songstress chose to switch things up as she clung onto a keytar while dressed head to toe in a metallic one piece. I love you so much. "I'll tell you something".

The biggest news from the show, though, is that singer also delivered a couple of live debuts during the performance!

The superstar who did not disappoint thrilled the audience as she performed a bunch of her hits like "Poker Face", "The Edge of Glory", "Applause", "Paparazzi", "Beautiful Dirty Rich", "Dance In the Dark", "Aura", "Shallow" and "Scheibe".

There are five Enigma shows in January (17, 19, 24, 26, 31), one in February (2), one in May (30), five in June (1, 6, 8, 12, 14), five in October (17, 19, 23, 25, 31) and three in November (2, 6, 8).
