Red Dead Redemption 2 Day One Patch Confirmed by Rockstar

Red Dead Redemption 2 Day One Patch Confirmed by Rockstar

The app will be available for iOS and Android devices, connecting directly with your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One during gameplay to feed you real-time info.

Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to take the world by storm - that's an inevitability.

If you ignore most of the side content in the game, including hunting, optional missions, freeform activities, and minigames, and focus mainly on main story missions, you'll probably be able to see the credits within 50 or so hours. Rockstar does as it is releasing one for Red Dead Redemption 2 this Friday, 26 October.

Once downloaded and connected, you will be able to explore the map and set waypoints and points of interest that will appear in-game as you play. In addition, the app will show players the protagonist's core details and stats in real-time, which allows them to completely remove the in-game HUD from the TV for better immersion.

As extra as the Red Dead Redemption 2 app sounds, it is far from Rockstar's first mobile app.

There isn't long left before the game that is apparently so big that it may have broken a bit of a modern gaming record (more on that here), and another major development has been announced.

You can use the app to read the journal of the game's new hero, Arthur Morgan.

To get the unique hunting outfits in Red Dead Redemption 2, you need to sell legendary animal pelts to the trapper.
