OnePlus 6T to launch in India on October 17; leak confirms

We are still waiting for a confirmation of the October 17 launch date where everything will be officially revealed.

As per the leak, OnePlus 6T will be unveiled exclusively in India on October 17. The company has already announced that it is removing the 3.5mm audio jack from the OnePlus 6T. Among the major changes, we will get to see a water-drop notch display, an in-display fingerprint sensor and will ship without a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Yesterday we reported about some hands-on pictures of the upcoming OnePlus 6T smartphone where the device was shown from the front side. Notably, some previous reports have claimed that the OnePlus 6T will feature three rear cameras and not two.

A new image of an invitation has leaked online revealing that OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 6T on October 17.

Not only would it be the first to implement an on-screen fingerprint scanner inside the display, but it would also have a dramatically improved camera with more features. Because we now most definitely know exactly what it will look like. The new notch is comparable to the ones in the OPPO R17 and F9 series. "Based on that commonality, MySmartPrice also believes that confirms a 6.4" diagonal screen measurement -presumably that's something that can't be checked via the dimensions included to create the renders.

Among other reports about OnePlus 6T seen recently are those about its battery. OnePlus 6T price in India is not known yet, but it will be exclusive to Amazon India as per a teaser on the e-tailer's website. But if we go with the leaked version of the device, it suggests that the company will come up with dual cameras setup only. Additionally, the users of OnePlus 6T are going to enjoy unbelievable 6.4-inch AMOLED display in the "waterdrop" style like the Oppo R17. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB RAM and will run the latest Android 9.0 Pie.
