Lindsay Lohan posts freakish video of encounter with Syrian family

Lindsay Lohan has broadcast a weird video to Instagram, in which she approaches what appears to be a family of refugees and offers to pay for them to stay in a hotel room for the night.

"Hey everyone, I just want to show you a family that I met", she says in the video. "They really need help". "I won't leave until I take you", Lohan says while trailing the family, peppering the conversation with Arabic and Russian words. Do you wanna watch movies? "It would be so cool to watch a movie on a TV or a computer".

The New York Times also reported that "if there's one thing Ms. Lohan wants the public to know about her personal life, it's that there's nearly nothing that she wants them to know".

Lindsay asks the boys if they are excited - but then, the family heads the opposite direction of her auto. It's believed the incident took place in Paris, where the Hollywood actress has been staying for the last number of days for Paris Fashion Week. It was not clear if they understood what she was saying. I won't leave until I take you.

After a few minutes, the family decide to pick up their belongings and move away from Ms Lohan. LiLo accuses them of trafficking their kids, as she speaks in both English and Arabic. She continues: "I'm with you boys, don't worry". She then asked the mother if she could take her children to her own hotel room for the night, to which the mother again declined. "I want you to tell America what you need and I will get it for you".

Initially, Lohan says she wants to help the family by offering them money for a hotel. A good person. I don't have any bad intentions. The mother then appears to strike Lohan knocking her to the ground.

The mother shakes her head in refusal at Lohan's demands and the family get up off the sidewalk and walk away.

After watching the unusual spectacle unfold, Twitter users attempted to make sense of what they had just seen, with the general consensus being that Lohan had gone completely off the rails.

She said: 'I'm going to really hate myself for saying this, but I think by women speaking against all these things, it makes them look weak when they are very strong women. Lohan's post exploded on Twitter, where many were baffled and shocked by her actions.
