Pedro, Eden Hazard net as Chelsea defeat Bournemouth

Goals from Pedro and Eden Hazard saw Chelsea claim a 2-0 win over AFC Bournemouth to maintain the Blues' 100 percent record in the Premier League.

Hazard put the game to bed with a classy strike. He's doing very well in the offensive phase.

"Alonso, at the moment, this position at left-back is maybe the best in Europe", said the head coach. We did that, a lot of blocks, really good defensive play and we had the best chances until their goals.

Alonso came closer than anyone to breaking the deadlock in a frustrating first half for Chelsea when his right-footed shot bounced off the post, and he played decisive passes in the build-up to Pedro and Eden Hazard's goals in the final 20 minutes as Bournemouth's stubborn resistance crumbled. We go to Chelsea and we know how hard the game is going to be. I'm really very happy to have 12 points from four matches, but I always think we can do more.

Sarri told Sky Sports, "They (Bournemouth) defended very aggressively and made the situation not so easy".

"We needed more movement without the ball, but I think we did well".

The Blues fourth win on the trot sees them keep pace with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League, as we head into the first worldwide break of the campaign.

Chelsea returned for the restart with the intention of applying constant pressure to the Bournemouth defence but while that materialised, Sarri's players were still left frustrated by the visitors. In the first half, the situation was hard.

The Belgian stepped up to the mark and delivered once again for Chelsea against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

With Sarri's style of play, Moses has managed just eleven minutes of football this season in the English Premier League, but the new man in charge says the star can still regain the flair he had in the previous seasons under Conte.

Later in the first half, he allowed Wilson to control and lay the ball off before drifting away from the striker as he moved unmarked into the penalty area.
