MLB Pitcher Apologizes After Racist and Homophobic Tweets Surface During All-Star Game

Christian Yelich doesn't know much about the situation but says Josh Hader has a "really kind heart". League will consider statement tomorrow. The tweets went from being quite hilarious to downright disturbing, homophobic, and racist.

By the way, if you defend Hader by saying that everyone probably said similar things when they were 17-years-old then, then you know what, those people are equally ignorant and should feel bad for what they've said. I was a child. "I said some things that are inexcusable", Hader said.

"I assume when you're a kid you just tweet what's on your mind", Hader said Tuesday night. There's no excuse for what was said. I'm deeply sorry for what I've said and what has been going on.

Before the game even ended, Hader made his tweets protected.

Members of his family were seen switching out his jerseys for generic ones without his name on the back.

As Hader's tweets were going viral, some of Hader's friends and family in attendance were given blank gear in the stands.

"When anybody does something like that, you're always surprised", said Cain, USA Today reported. "At the end of the day, you've got to give people a second chance, you understand you have to forgive people, move on from it".

Hader said he would likely address the situation with his Milwaukee Brewers teammates and was prepared for the possibility of a suspension for some other type of discipline from Major League Baseball.

When asked if he is anxious about facing any potential discipline from the league, Hader said he is "ready for any consequences". "I'm moving on from it individually, anyway".

"That's one of the reasons I didn't want social media", Milwaukee Brewers outfielder and teammate Lorenzo Cain said.

"Wow! Haha nah who am I getting I was a little nigger nigger".

According to the Baltimore Sun, in one tweet, dated October 25, 2011, Hader tweeted lyrics from the Juicy J song, "Durr She Go", that used the N-word.

"We all said some insane stuff when we're young", Cain told reporters after the game. We'll move on it.

"I'm completely and utterly embarrassed and feel frightful to have put the fans, my teammates and the Blue Jays organizion in this position". I'm fine. Everybody will be okay.
