What Bruce Willis thinks about 'Die Hard' being considered a Christmas movie

What Bruce Willis thinks about 'Die Hard' being considered a Christmas movie

The latter was an especially fun moment, according to those who were in attendance, as Moore's arrival on the roasting stage wasn't announced until right before she approached the podium.

The "G.I. Jane" star, who was married to Willis from 1987 to 2000, joked, per People: "I was married to Bruce for the first three "Die Hard" movies, which makes sense, because the last two sucked".

During her set, Moore joked about Willis' age, bald head, his music, and his Die Hard films - and she was not afraid to touch on their failed marriage.

She added: "Bruce considered the end of our marriage his biggest failure".

But Moore's appearance wasn't entirely mean-spirited, saying their 12-year marriage was "some of the best times of my life. easily one of my top three husbands".

The former basketball star made things a little bit awkward though.

The roast will air on July 29th.

Cybill Shepard, who co-starred with Bruce in his breakout role - "Moonlighting" - also took her shots.

Another dig from Glaser: "Bruce has been very active with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which is where they make sick kids meet you so dying doesn't seem so awful".

While Willis only took the stage briefly, as is customary for the subject of a roast, he did use the opportunity to close the ceremonies with the strong declaration that "Die Hard is not a Christmas movie!"

Especially as he was there with their three daughters and his new wife, Emma Heming.

In addition, Gordon-Levitt, Moore, and Norton, there was a motley crew of Willis' colleagues and random admirers that didn't mince words when it came to railing on Willis and each other.

He said: "Joseph played a younger me in Looper".

Some of the roasters included Edward Norton, Demi Moore and Dennis Rodman.

Whether or not his statement was for comedic effect, it's clear the actor's opinion couldn't be any clearer, as he considers Die Hard another of one of his famed action movies as opposed to holiday viewing.
