Julius Randle reportedly signs two-year, $18 million deal with Pelicans

Rajon Rondo will be wearing Forum blue and gold.

Randle is a restricted free agent and is hopeful of receiving a potential offer from the Lakers. Rondo walks into a crowded backcourt, which includes Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball.

Rondo, who is reportedly joining the Lakers on a one-year contract, has played 12 years in the National Basketball Association.

Los Angeles has inked Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to a new deal and added Lance Stephenson, Rajon Rondo as well as JaVale McGee to its roster, in addition to James, this offseason.

The floodgates have opened for the Los Angeles Lakers as the news of LeBron James' signing has kicked off a flurry of moves. The remaining bit of team chemistry that unexpectedly carried them into the second round of the playoffs this past season is gone.

The deal will be for one year worth $9 million. After finishing out that year with a tumultuous five months in Dallas, he headed to the Sacramento Kings for the next season, then bouncing to the Chicago Bulls followed most recently by his 2017-18 season with the NOLA Pelicans.

Last season with Rondo running the point, Holiday had considerably more open looks and better driving angles. Rondo gives the Lakers experience at point guard, where the Lakers relied on Ball, and even Ingram when Ball was injured.

He grew up there along with his mother and three brothers.
