Kevin Durant says he would consider retiring at 35

On Monday, Warriors general manager Bob Myers said he'd give Durant "whatever he wants" to re-sign with the team. Nothing to me was that shocking, but we went through some stuff.

Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry (30) celebrates after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, on Friday, June 8, 2018.

Durant signed a below-market, two-year deal worth $51 million last year.

When the report of Myers offering Durant "whatever deal he wants" came up in the parade interview, Myers found the flawless opportunity to make fun of the two-time Finals MVP.

Durant told ESPN's Chris Haynes that he could see himself retiring at the age of 35, which would mean another five or six years of playing in the National Basketball Association.

"All I want to do in my life, while I'm healthy, is to work on my game and enjoy the game and not worry about nothing else".

Since Durant signed a one-plus-one deal last summer, he will decline his second-year option and therefore become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The most obvious line in the video is "Looking like straight bozos, I saw it coming, that's why I went solo", which is Westbrook's way of calling the Golden State Warriors - specifically KD - bozos for teaming up in Golden State while he is perfectly fine running the show alone in Oklahoma City. Following the 2015-16 campaign where Golden State fell short of winning the title, the team understood that the talent on their roster could easily carry them to the playoffs every year.

"She's been huge, just being there for us", Curry told the Connor LeTourneau of The San Francisco Chronicle. That's how I want to leave the game.

Curry appeared on Good Morning America where he talked about what this year's title means to him, his teammates, and his family.

Tyreke Evans - is a much better player than this placement would indicate, but fringe-star players are going to find it hard to get big deals. Draymond's got two more.
