Fortnite Rated For Nintendo Switch; Announcement Imminent?

Nintendo previously revealed its E3 2018 plans, showing that the spotlight will on Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, VentureBeat said there have been speculations that "Paladins" will be released on the Nintendo Switch.

The world's most popular game popped up on the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee database overnight, specifically listed for the Nintendo Switch.

Fortnite's Battle Royale mode is a survival shooter game similar to the likes of PUBG and H1Z1. The logo of Nintendo Co.'s Switch video game console is displayed in the Capcom Co. booth during the Tokyo Game Show 2017 at Makuhari Messe on September 21, 2017 in Chiba, Japan.

The document does list a few other interesting titles too, including Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, FIFA 19, and Overcooked 2, which has not yet been officially announced. We can all dream.

We'll find out in just over a week, with E3 kicking off properly on June 12. Eurogamer reported that they had been told separately in the past that a Switch version of the ultra-popular battle royale game was on the way. Currently, PlayStation 4 users don't need PlayStation Plus to access the online game, but Xbox One players do need Xbox Live Gold.

The Switch is just about the last platform that Fortnite isn't available on, with the game coming to Android some time this summer.

Nintendo has other ports lined up for this year's E3 as well.

With E3 2018 set to begin in under two weeks, it comes as no surprise that there are leaks springing left right and centre.

Fortnite, however, is not the only game shown in the leaked document. It seems likely the conversion will be handled by Iron Galaxy Studios, which brought Skyrim to Switch and also worked on the mobile version of Fortnite.
