Peña Nieto to Trump: 'Mexico will never pay for a wall'

U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee, is vying to win the seat, which is up for grabs with Republican Sen.

It's hard to find a USA lawmaker more loyal to AT&T and Comcast than Tennessee Representative Marsha Blackburn.

To keep this momentum going, to continue this incredible progress, to keep on winning, you have to vote Republican in November.

In March, the Trump administration said it could fund 100 miles of new and replacement border fencing with the $1.6 billion lawmakers provided for border security. Remember? I said they're animals, and she said, 'How dare you say that, how dare you say that?' Have you seen what they've done?

"They're going to pay for the wall, and they're going to enjoy it", Trump said to cheers from the crowd.

He didn't let Democratic leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi off the hook, reminding the crowd that the pair has apparently put illegal immigrants on a higher pedestal than lawful Americans.

"If Bredesen were ever to get elected, he would do whatever Chuck and Nancy" want, Trump said.

Blackburn, a Republican congresswoman, is vying for her party's nomination to replace retiring Corker, a Republican.

Trump criticized Bredesen for being backed by national Democrats, including the Senate and House leaders. The Tennessee campaign is among several races crucial to Trump's plans to maintain control of the Senate, where Republicans are defending a narrow two-seat majority. "I like people who weren't captured".

Trump added that Bredesen donated to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign in 2016, saying, "Phil Bredesen supported her and he supported her ideas".

The reply Tuesday night from Peña Nieto to Trump's renewal of that promise was fast and pointed - and on Trump's favorite medium, Twitter:The tweet quickly went viral, earning more than 13,000 retweets in under an hour. Earlier this year, the president had called the comedian, whose character was a Trump supporter, to congratulate her on its ratings dominance.

Corker has a mixed relationship with the president, despite being rumored as a possible Vice Presidential candidate in 2016 and golfing with the president and Tennessee football legend Peyton Manning.
