Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 won't have a single player campaign

Second, Activision is taking a second bit of my advice and capitalizing on the success of games like Fortnite and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds: Black Ops 4 will include a "Battle Royale" mode called Blackout.

In its report on the game announcement, The Verge quotes an Activision source that indicated Call of Duty Black Ops 4 would be a side step in the series, and future outings would "return to the bombastic cinematic single-player modes players are used to".

Battle royale games have revolutionised the first-person shooter genre over the last few years, and feature a large amount of players - normally 100 - entering into combat that is won when just one victor, or winning team, is left alive.

Finally, as previously leaked, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will feature its own twist on the battle royale genre via "Blackout".

Black Ops 4 Zombies will feature more in-depth gameplay, tons of easter eggs and a new feature called Zombie Rush that will streamline gameplay and introduce new challenges to seasoned veterans.

All in all, the experience should be familiar and convenient enough for all players - but again, Black Ops 4 will not be releasing on Steam.

Call Of Duty is one of the video games industry's most successful series, having amassed multibillion-pound sales since first launching in 2003. In Blackout mode, users will be able to play for the famous characters in the series Black Ops.

That will include land, air, and sea vehicles.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII features a combination of new and re-imagined Specialists, all of whom have distinct combat profiles and abilities. Since then, we've seen little details sprout up, including the aforementioned Zombies mode.

Activision and Treyarch are back this year with a brand new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer reveal trailer.

It is noted that in the new game will not be the usual story campaign, but the creators have promised a sophisticated multiplayer, and three different scenario for the zombie mode.

The trailer describes the map for it as the biggest one that they have created yet and it emphasizes that with Blackout, they are doing battle royale like only Black Ops can.

According to the post, this Black Ops will have replayability and bigger, better zombies. It is official that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will not have a campaign this year and boy are some fans mad.

Earlier in the interview with Yale Miller and Matt Scronce of Treyarch, the developers said that the studio has been thinking about Battle Royale for awhile, but nothing "crystalized" until the beginning of 2018. Yet, now we know that they exist and, more or less, how they'll function-to a certain point. Including, as we predicted, Battle.net integration for PC. We've always wanted to celebrate our community, especially how you play the game with friends. In addition, Treyarch and Beenox worked closely with the team at Blizzard to incorporate Battle.net's social systems, security, and server stability into Black Ops 4, to prepare for the release on Battle.net on October 12.
