Warm Weekend Will Spill Into Work Week

A few spotty showers and storms may start to pop up near sunset, and last into the overnight hours. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. Mother's Day on Sunday will be variably cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, so it will be a day to stay inside. We're gusty at the moment and winds will remain breezy throughout the evening. North northeast wind around 6 miles per hour. Severe thunderstorms are not looking likely, but a few of the storms could produce some hail around parts of the area. Tuesday: 20 percent chance of showers/thunderstorms after 1 pm, partly sunny - high near 92. Morning temperatures will start off in the mid to upper 60s with a light to moderate breeze at times. South wind 5 to 10 miles per hour. Rain chances stay elevated for Friday with overcast skies and temperatures in the mid 70s.

West Michigan as a chance to see some scattered showers early Monday morning mainly for our southern communities.

Next week, the pattern gets more unsettled with good daily storm chances on the way, especially Tuesday onward. It'll be nice outside, with highs in the mid-70s.

With heavy rain chances, there is the potential for flooding. Partly to mostly cloudy, with a high near 65°. Wednesday and Thursday seem to be the two days where we will see more widespread coverage of these storms, but they won't be a washout entirely. But, can not rule out a passing shower on Monday afternoon for our southern most counties.
