Tom Brady: 'Miracle' to win AFC Championship game without Rob Gronkowski

It included a 'Good Morning America' appearance, the releasing of his final 'Tom vs. Time' episode, and him chugging a beer on the 'The Late Show' with Stephen Colbert.

Tom Brady is finally showing everyone the hand injury he suffered during the National Football League playoffs - and it's WAYYYY worse than everyone thought. a massive, deep, bloody gash.

"This is it. This is the way the season ends", Brady said.

I'm looking down on my thumb as it's split open and I'm thinking, "I really don't know what happened to my thumb".

The quarterback talked about his infamous thumb injury, which he suffered in the week leading up to the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars while at Patriots practice. He went on to light up the Eagles for 505 yards in a tough loss at Super Bowl LII. Gronk didn't play in the second half due to a concussion, but said he was feeling better when Gisele asked for an update.

"That was a miracle, us winning without you".

"You have linemen, Julian Edelman, they all think they are going to win", Hoyer said.

"I'm sitting here three days after the year getting my Achilles worked on and my thumb and you go, 'What are we doing this for?" You've got to have answers to those questions, and they have to be with a lot of conviction. Forget his five Super Bowl rings, if Brady had become a professional beer chugger, there's a good chance he would have five titles in that sport also.

Whatever Brady and the Patriots staff did to remedy that bad looking gash ahead of the Super Bowl clearly worked. That's in line with what Brady's former teammate Ross Tucker said last summer on the Dan Patrick Show.

And then the competition was on and I'm not sure if Colbert knew what hit him.
