"Upon your first click on the "?" icon, you'll be hit with nostalgia. That's why March 10 is officially Mario Day! This year Google has gotten in on the fun with a neat addition to the Google Maps app.

"To celebrate our favorite mustachioed plumber-turned-racer on his special day-MAR10 Day-we've collaborated with the team at Nintendo to let Mario accompany you on all of your driving adventures on Google Maps this week", says Google. On Thursday, Google tweeted an image of Street View in Venice, Louisiana with banana peels from Mario Kart lining the road. The new update looks quite promising as it brings a whole new live Mario to the navigation maps using Google Maps on your device. Mario will then replace the navigation arrow and join users on their commutes for the next seven days.
