Rumour confirmed: Catherine coming to PS4 and Vita

She also supposedly has a much different personality than the other Catherines, which poses a new challenge for our hero.

The new version of the puzzle game, which is in development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, is going to feature some brand new content not found in the original release such as a third Catherine, new cutscenes for the previous heroines, new endings, new events and more. Her addition into the main story of Catherine: Full Body will cause the new endings and branches that you can select. Multiplayer online battles and the ability to cross-save on platforms should also be in the final version game. We also know that she is a pianist working at the bar where Vincent often goes, and she is a honest and kind girl who will show him new values. "While her speech and conduct give off an aura of considerably lacking in common, she is a very straightforward and gentle character".

Development is now 50% complete. A livestream is planned for December 22nd at 7:30 JST.

Catherine: Full Body has been announced for PS4 and PS Vita.

The game doesn't have a release date, but it's expected to arrive sometime in 2018, alongside Atlus' port of Dragon's Crown Pro.

Catherine was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011 and had players take control of Vincent Brooks, who starts having odd dreams where he has to climb blocks. Originally it was created in order to test the capabilities of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before the development of the next Persona, but it would turn into an unexpectedly success; claiming major positive reviews and becoming critically acclaimed for being an intense, personal, but enjoyable experience.
