Bridge Constructor meets Portal in Bridge Constructor Portal

Bridge Constructor meets Portal in Bridge Constructor Portal

Incorporating portal physics into the physics of Bridge Constructor will certainly put this on a few Steam wishlists for purchase on Dec 20th. Console versions are set to follow in early 2018 according to the developer. It's called Bridge Constructor Portal and it puts you right back in Aperture Labs, together with GLaDOS who has chose to run tests in vehicle-based test chambers because. well, why not? Instead, the guys at Headup Games and Valve have come up with a great solution: Basically injecting a heaping helping of GLaDOS into Bridge Constructor [$1.99 / Free].

Recognisable elements of the series have appeared in some VR projects, and Portal characters also featured in their own dedicated part of toys-to-life game Lego Dimensions in 2015.

I admit, I've never really understood the enduring popularity of bridge-building sims, but this is at least a somewhat interesting use of the Portal license.

Bridge Constructor Portal, as the name suggests, combines gameplay from Bridge Constructor and Portal. Feast your eyes on these screenshots, JUST LOOK AT THEM!

Bridge Constructor Portal will be released on December 20th on both Mac and Windows computers as well as mobile devices.

There's a new Portal game on the way, but it's not what anyone would have expected. The game is actually a spin-off of Bridge Constructor - a 2013 title that isn't a huge hit, but has its share of fans.

No firm release date has been announced.
