Trump Saying 'Access Hollywood' Tape Is Fake

Trump has denied other allegations that surfaced following the release of the tape, when 13 different women came forward publicly to accuse him of unwanted sexual advances. This week, Trump made the totally not-shocking decision to back accused sexual predator (of young girls) Roy Moore in his bid for the senate in Alabama, and now he's moved onto another odd denial of a sexual harassment situation he's long-since confessed to being part of.

Mr Trump's suggestion that the tape was a hoax was first reported on Saturday (local time) by the New York Times, in an article about the President's refusal to withdraw support for Roy Moore, the Alabama Senate candidate accused of child molestation.

In 2016, some thought a tape in which Donald Trump bragged about sexual assault would be the end of his political career.

Trump suggested to a Senator that the leaked recording was inauthentic, and he recently repeated the claim to an adviser, the report said. "I said it, I was wrong and I apologize", Trump said in a video statement he released on his social media accounts that evening.

Whether or not Trump truly believes Moore's innocence is up for debate, although the times say that the President has, in private, characterized his endorsement as a "cold political calculus". The news operation's reputation took another hit more recently when it passed on Ronan Farrow's reporting about women alleging they had been sexually harassed and abused by Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. "I hate it. But it's locker room talk". I'm not proud of it.

"He's made his position on that clear at that time, as have the American people", she said.

Cooper asked again: "Are you saying that what you said on that bus 11 years ago that you did not actually kiss women without consent or grope women without consent?"

"I have great respect for women". In the taped discussion, Trump revealed that he couldn't hold back when he saw attractive women.

"So, for the record, you're saying you never did that?" "But I have tremendous respect for women", Trump said.
