Padmavati cleared for release in United Kingdom without cuts but won't be screened

It seems like one after one trouble is coming in front of Bhansali.

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has given the film 12 A rating and the film was passed without any cuts. Considering that "Padmavati" has been banned in five states - Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, and taking into account that it's release has been postponed indefinitely, the makers can't claim any compensation as of yet. Chief Justice Justice Deepak Mishra, Justice A.M. Khanvilkar and Justice D.Y. The bench of Chandrachud chose to hear a petition that the movie should not allow being released overseas. Given the sheer volume of films that Bollywood is churning out every month, there is a paucity of release dates.

Lawyer Sharma had placed this petition before the bench for an immediate hearing.

According to the current reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has made an insurance of 140 crores for the film Padmavati and if the film could not be able to release or faces any loss for the screens of the film, then Bhansali will get the recovery amount of 80 crores. The court will hear an advocate's plea against the release of the movie in the foreign countries on Tuesday, November 28. Sharma demanded a criminal case against the producers of the film. However, the Central Board of Film Certification has not clear the movie. Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices AM Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud have said that they will hear the plea on Tuesday that alleged that the makers of the movie "Padmavati" that have mispresented the facts with the regards to the censor board's approval on releasing the movie's promo and its song.
