Apparently, the 'new' Taylor Swift curses!

When "Look What You Made Me Do" dropped in August, the Internet immediately dubbed it a Kanye West diss track, which is a bit surprising since the pop star wrote on Instagram in July 2016 that she "would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009".

"Rocking the coolest dark plaid pants and button-adorned heels, Swift first sat toward the front of the fishbowl, pointing out that she was basically on the set of her ".Ready for It?" music video, ready to break through the glass.

Yet, even with its controversy-winking title, Reputation is probably the least-gossipy release of Swift's career. Swift steers clear of Katy Perry and squad drama and bashing her exes, keeping her apologies short, and list of enemies shorter. Of course in the time between albums, Swift has also gained infamy for being petty as fuck. That's the story of Reputation, and the British actor Joe Alwyn, whom Swift has been spotted with over the past year, is the man at its center. As she notes in her song, "Forgiveness is a nice thing to do / I can't even say it with a straight face". Ensuing highlights include the auto-tuned electro-pop of "Delicate", the sickly sweet bubbling beat backing a tale of forbidden love on "Gorgeous" and the most 1989-ish track on the record, "Getaway Car". The kicker is her explicit reference to the speakerphone call during which Kim recorded her, as Swift continues, "And therein lies the issue/Friends don't try to trick you/Get you on the phone and mind-twist you/And so I took an ax to a mended fence".

Now, she is addressing their feud in Reputation. She starts by singing that she is not a fan of the "little games", "your tilted stage" or "the role you made me play of the fool, no, I don't like you".

With an album title like Reputation, fans speculated whether the entire album would be a vindictive screed aimed at Swift's enemies.

Taylor Swift seems to be feeling quite proud of her new album. While I love each of the 15 tracks individually, I've chosen to highlight five of the best new tracks right here.

Then, it's West's turn.

Fans believe the song 'I Did Something Bad' is also about Calvin.

Here, we've rounded up six sneaky references T.Swift could be making to Kanye with the song below. "Real friends" could just be a common phrase, or Taylor could possibly be revisiting this and Kanye's song directly with one of her final lines, "Here's a toast to my real friends - they don't care about that he said, she said".
