Kevin Spacey: Journalist claims actor sexually assaulted teen son

She said police on Nantucket island in MA are now investigating a report the young man has filed.

Longtime Boston television journalist Heather Unruh has accused Kevin Spacey of sexually assaulting her son at a MA bar last summer. The "House of Cards" star was there, too, and he stuck his hand in her son's trousers and grabbed his genitals, Unruh said. "I want to see Kevin Spacey see the hand of justice come down on him - not just for my son, but every victim who speaks the truth", Unruh told a packed press conference at the Hilton Hotel at Faneuil Hall accompanied by her teenage daughter and her son's attorney Mitchell Garabedian.

The former anchor said her son was not of legal age to drink, though he told Spacey that he was, and she says nor did he give the actor consent for what happened afterward.

Unruh said her son did not go to police at the time "largely because of embarrassment and fear", but she said he filed a police report last week and provided evidence to Nantucket police.

Allegations of misconduct by Spacey, star of Netflix's House of Cards, began October 29, after actor Anthony Rapp disclosed to Buzzfeed that the Oscar-winner had made sexual advances on Rapp when he was just 14 years old.

Even before those allegations surfaced, Unruh revealed in the midst of the Harvey Weinstein scandal last month that Spacey had assaulted someone close to her. "That was an appalling attempt to deflect attention away from what you really are: a sexual predator".

Spacey, a two-time Oscar victor, is facing a career crisis that started when Anthony Rapp publicly accused the actor and producer of making a sexual advance on him decades ago when the "Star Trek: Discovery" actor was just 14.

Garabedian said he is conducting his own investigation and did not say whether they intend to file civil action against Spacey.

The 58-year-old "House of Cards" star had previously recorded a segment for the special that will celebrate "The Carol Burnett" show. In the days since, numerous others have also come forward to make various allegations of sexual harassment and assault against Spacey.

Spacey has not responded to the mounting allegations but apologized to Rapp for what he called "deeply inappropriate drunken behavior". "And shame on you for using your apology to Anthony Rapp to come out as a gay man", Unruh angrily said.

She also spoke directly to Spacey.

The family lawyer also told reporters Wednesday that his client had spoken to Nantucket police, who were investigating.

Netflix late week dropped Spacey, its star actor on hit series "House of Cards" whose career is in free-fall over spiraling assault accusations.
