Apple fires engineer after daughter's viral iPhone X video

Apple has allegedly fired an engineer after his daughter's video of an unreleased iPhone X went viral on YouTube, the media reported.

Brooke Amelia Peterson explains in a tearful video how her father was sacked because of her uploaded video after her dad violated the company rule by letting her shoot the video.

iPhone X will be available for release on 3 November 2017. Another scenario where users will have to pay for screen repairs is when the screen stops working and the iPhone X isn't covered by the Apple warranty or AppleCare+. However, in the end of the video, she visited her father in Apple Campus Cupertino for the dinner. In a tearful response, Peterson said her father violated an Apple company rule by allowing her to film the iPhone X while on Apple's campus. Thie strict act is surely going to serve as a reminder for Apple employees and remind them that confidentiality is taken very seriously at the multinational. This week, analysts are expected to question Apple CEO Tim Cook on whether slow iPhone 8 sales are a sign that shoppers waited for the more expensive iPhone X model or are buying new devices less frequently. The video gives us what is maybe our best take a gander at the iPhone X's peculiar Animoji highlight.

IPhone X users, however, can avoid the exorbitant screen fix prices if they opt for AppleCare+ for the device by paying upfront - $199 (roughly Rs. 13,000).

Brooke also said that the incident did not leave them sour with Apple and said that they will continue to love and use the Apple products in the future. There have been various reports concerning the lag in iPhone X production, including confirmation from LG Innotek; and the device's launch is coming six weeks after the release of the iPhone 8, which doesn't feature Face ID.
