Game of Thrones' star Sophie Turner announces her engagement to Joe Jonas

Game of Thrones' star Sophie Turner announces her engagement to Joe Jonas

Sophie Turner's on-screen "Game of Thrones" character, Sansa Stark, may have had a frightful track record of love interests, but in real life, she can't be happier.

Turner posted to Instagram with a very romantic and cute pic of the two holding hands and the actress showing off her engagement ring, which is spectacular. The 28-year-old Jonas captioned his photo with "She said yes", while 21-year-old Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on HBO's hit show, responded with, "I said yes".

If you're looking for a distraction from all the Hurricane Ophelia content now doing the rounds on social media, can we ask you to direct your attention towards the Instagram accounts of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner?

The actress and the DNCE singer have been dating since December 2016.

Paying tribute to the couple on Twitter, Joe's younger brother, Nick, wrote: "Ahh! Congratulations you to. You deserve all the love you could ever have". Wait, no. We're getting real life and Game Of Thrones confused again.

With the Turner-Jonas news, it looks like marriage is coming - maybe even before winter.

Since then, Sophie and Joe have adopted an adorable puppy together.

The Game of Thrones star has been dating the American singer/songwriter since November of past year.

"You do feel like you're living in a fishbowl", she said. "It's frustrating that it's the most mundane things that make the news - how boring!" Congratulations to the happy couple!
