Benchmarks show your iPhone might not be slowing down over time

Every iOS release brings with it a mix of excitement for people who own newer iPhones and trepidation for people who own older ones.

If you were hoping that iOS 11.0.2 was going to fix all the problems with latest version of Apple's operating system, you're going to be disappointed. So, what could be the major issue for the bugs with the new iOS update?

Last week Apple hurriedly released iOS 11.0.2 last week after being inundated with complaints from users that iOS 11 was playing havoc with their iPhone and iPads.

It might be that older phones are less compatible with the design of apps that update when a new version of iOS comes out. So, till then users have to make their move with the current update. iPhone, iPod, and iPad users don't just sightlessly click on the update button otherwise your life would really become messy, at least till the moment when Apple will come up with a solution. We should be seeing both the public beta and the developer beta for iOS 11.1 being released sometime this week. The biggest new feature, one alluded to ahead of time by Apple, is the inclusion of hundreds of new Unicode 10 emoji characters.

For example, new features introduced in a certain update may require more resources or processing power, or a new app designed for the latest iPhone may not run smoothly on an older device. This will give you the access of all the emojis from the native keyboard of your iOS device without using any chat app. There are several new food choices too in the iOS 11.1 emojis. Save for later feature is also being tested by the users as the giant has started pushing the new update for the testers.

Using 100,000 benchmarking test results from multiple iPhones and iOS versions, the GPU and CPU performance remained consistent over time.

A major company recognizing people who live outside the gender binaries is pretty awesome, but it's a pretty hard process to get new emojis approved.
