Watch Michael Irvin go absolutely berserk after Miami beats Florida State

Malik Rosier didn't leave it to the kicker this time.

The junior drove Miami 75 yards in nine plays, throwing a 23-yard touchdown pass to Darrell Langham with 6 seconds left and Miami beat Florida State 24-20 on Saturday to end a seven-game losing streak in the series.

He needed it. Rosier hadn't been sharp all day; his stat line finishes at 19-44 for 254 yards and three touchdowns and an interception.

MI (4-1, 1-1) could not overcome many mistakes, including five turnovers and several costly penalties.

Rosier didn't leave a foot to chance.

Berrios makes another big play.

Miami's defense set the tone early, and the offense came alive in the second half to propel the Hurricanes to a 24-20 win over the Florida State Seminoles.

Florida State clearly isn't the same team with starting quarterback Deondre Francois out due to injury but is still a tough matchup with All-American talent all over the field. The Seminoles and Gators have a combined for losses.

Rosier took a major step in development with a huge victory on the road, especially in the second half. It was a one play - 21 yard drive for the Canes.

Ohio State overwhelmed quarterback Max Bortenschlager, holding the Terrapins to 16 passing yards and only six first downs.

FORT WORTH, Texas - Kenny Hill avoided a defender in the backfield and lunged forward through two more for a 3-yard touchdown run with 2:53 left and TCU remained the Big 12's only undefeated team.

Then it was Rosier and Langham's turn. Both teams might be just fine, and neither seems to be as good as anyone thought going into the season-Miami entered Saturday ranked No. 13, but Rosier largely did not look like the quarterback of a top-10 team. Rosier nearly picked off while feeling pressure in own end zone.

He delivered, finding his receivers in tight situations and driving down the field into the Hurricanes' red-zone, where he eventually found a wide-open Auden Tate for a 20-yard touchdown pass that sent the garnet and gold faithful into a craze.

Berrios made two key catches on the final drive that led to the 'Canes win over FSU. Prior to those two drives, he had completed 12 of 34 for 136 yards as the FSU defense baffled him with a man-to-man defense that included 12 passes broken up, three sacks and one hurry.

CLEMSON, S.C. - Kelly Bryant threw for 200 yards and a touchdown before leaving with an ankle injury and Clemson beat Wake Forest to reach to 6-0 for a third straight season. Miami didn't even cross midfield until the second half. Miami had been held scoreless in the first half, not running a single play in FSU territory.

Once again, Florida State's inability to score touchdowns - or any points - after venturing well into enemy territory, made it hard to win. Rosier changed all with one throw that could change the trajectory of this rivalry again. "That's something I knew as a senior, I knew as a leader, it was going to be in my hands, at one point or another". As a result, back-up running back Travis Homer was in for the 'Canes game-winning drive.

Miami has that now, too.
