Henrikh Mkhitaryan Says "there is no limit" This Season

Henrikh Mkhitaryan Says

Manchester United are in Russian Federation on Wednesday to face CSKA Moscow in their second group-stage game of the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League.

CSKA Moscow are expecting a tough Champions League battle against what head coach Viktor Goncharenko believes is the best Manchester United side since Sir Alex Ferguson retired. Manchester United continued their stunning start to the season, Chelsea shocked Atletico Madrid in Spain, while Celtic bagged their first Champions League away win since 2012.

"We can not guarantee this line of success, but the way to keep it is to do what we are doing", the United manager said.

"Let me make it clear that normally we bring players here that are starting the match the next day", the boss said.

United are without Marouane Fellaini due to an ankle injury sustained against Southampton and with Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick also sidelined, Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera are their only fit central midfielders.

But the Ivory Coast global said he has been watching Champions League games - including last season's final between Real Madrid and Juventus - to ensure he is ready for the step up.

"He didn't exactly say names but everyone thinks they have done something bad or made a mistake".

Mkhitaryan was speaking at United's pre-match press conference, where traditionally the player who talks to the media goes on to start the upcoming game.

"Our task is to find some weak points in our opponents and put some pressure there".

Both teams have started off the new season with some impressive performances.

"Our task is to keep looking for chances". "There's no pressure on him [in the global break] so hopefully he'll be back for us". This season is good and the connection between me and other players is very good and we understand each other very well and hopefully we can score lots more. Jose Mourinho will have to choose the playing 11 carefully, considering the fact that they have a Premier League game within just 3 days after the Champions League tie.

Meanwhile, Eric Bailly is set to make his long-awaited debut in the UEFA Champions League, a dream come true for the Ivorian as he himself highlighted his excitement to finally be able to make his mark in the Elite European competition.
