Emmys 2017 red carpet

The world's most renowned television awards show, "Oscars of Television" or the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards is right around the corner.

The 69th annual Primetime Emmy Awards are set for tonight, which promises a night of celebration and recognition for the most talented figures previous year on television.

If you love judging the red carpet fashions, coverage for the celebrity arrivals at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles will start hours before the Emmys begin on Sunday night.

PEOPLE Now's Jeremy Parsons and Andrea Boehlke will host the PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly Red Carpet Live pre-show from our NY studios while PEOPLE deputy editor JD Heyman and the host of Entertainment Weekly: The Show, Lola Ogunnaike, will report directly from the Emmys red carpet in Los Angeles. Entertainment observers expect that shows like Netflix's Stranger Things, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale and NBC's This Is Us are the mostly likely contenders to win big tonight. The event will be hosted by Stephen Colbert.
