Jennifer Lawrence says motherhood becomes less appealing as she gets older

That genre is not generally known for showcasing blockbuster stars.at least until the last few years.

Lawrence, who confirmed her relationship with Aronofsky in August, shared similar sentiments about the director while attending a news conference for mother! earlier this week.

Mother! is about a couple getting unusual, uninvited guests at their peaceful home.

Jennifer Lawrence and her boyfriend of about a year, director Darren Aronofsky, aren't exactly a red caret staple. Real life brothers Brian Gleeson and Domhnall Gleeson are Younger Son and Older Son.

You may not recognize Aronofsky, but you've certainly know his films.

She's now in the midst of a whirlwind promotional tour for her new film Mother! The screenplay for this film was not scary and made absolutely no sense. That's why I have always wanted to work with him.

The cinematography for this film was irritating at best. I don't think that's how it's supposed to work!' Lawrence said. Did you hear that, how much they love me?' So I don't put any stock in it.

From such a fabulous cast, I was disappointed in the acting. Bardem's Him agrees to let him without properly consulting Lawrence's character.

While "mother!" yearns to jar and confuse the audience, the most shocking thing about it is that it somehow got a wide release.

Aronofsky's film is not in any way typical, nor is it the kind of project you'd expect a long-absent actress like Pfeiffer to join as her first big-screen performance in five years.

"Mother!" will open this weekend at AMC Showplace Edwardsville 12. The film, intentionally shrouded in mystery, is a wild and weird odyssey by one of the movies' expert conjurers of dark, surreal dream worlds that suspend its viewers - and often its performers, too - in a vividly atmospheric state of paranoia.
