Brothers in Netflix's Last Chance U charged in connection with stabbing death

One of the stars of the Netflix reality series "Last Chance U" and his brother, a former football standout himself, have reportedly been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Aloca, Tennessee.

According to numerous reports, Camion Patrick and Isaiah Wright are among four men charged in connection with the death of Caleb Radford on July 25.

Last Chance U featured the East Mississippi Community College football team for two seasons.

Patrick played wide receiver and running back at IN but dealt with multiple injuries, and on July 20 was granted a medical hardship waiver, ending his career but allowing him to remain on scholarship. He ended up enrolling at Division II West Georgia but left school before the 2017 season. Police Chief David Carswell said Keshawn Lonnell Hopewell and Itiq Tivone Green are also behind bars in relation to Radford's death. That incident occurred just one day after IN awarded Patrick a medical hardship waiver to allow him to remain on scholarship at the school (his eligibility as a collegiate athlete, however, had already been exhausted). Alcoa (Tennessee) police say Patrick was taken into custody by Indiana University police. He is being held at the Monroe County Correctional Center in Bloomington, Ind.

Wright was arrested Wednesday in Harriman and was expected to be transferred to the Blount County Jail.

Former IU football player Camion Patrick was arrested in Bloomington on Wednesday morning by IUPD in connection to a murder in Tennessee. Wright's talents and disagreements with EMCC coach Buddy Stephens were well-documented in Season 1 of Last Chance U.

However, that was before Patrick and Wright were also charged. He was granted a medical hardship in July, ending his college career.
