Destiny 2 Graphics Failed to Initialize and Other Beta Issues

Ever since Bungie recently announced that the second game in the series would be released via Blizzard's Battle.net instead of Steam, players have been wondering how the region settings would be handled.

Thanks to YouTuber "MyNameisByf", you won't have to play through all of Destiny or its numerous expansions to grasp the universe's vast history and lore. After a rocky start, most players were able to get into the beta and start playing once Bungie made some adjustments to the servers on their end.

The Destiny 2 Beta on PC has launched, and among the many saxophones and chives, PC players have finally managed to get their first taste of Destiny.

You're Destiny is 2 Play it now!

Bungie is now investigating the Destiny 2 PC beta Chive error, but has yet to find out exactly what's causing it. As such, players may encounter various issues including visual artifacts and performance degradation when using MSAA. It can be installed and launched through the Battle.Net desktop app.

Destiny 2was already getting exclusive content on the PlayStation 4, but a recent trailer for the game confirmed that Destiny 2 will also be gaining HDR, or high dynamic range, support on the PlayStation 4 "soon" after launch.

Moving the Beta window between a 4K and 1080p monitor may result in the application crashing.
