Jerry Seinfeld to revisit old jokes for TV special

There will also be another stand-up Seinfeld special to come, along with scripted and nonscripted comedy programming now in development for the network. Next month, he'll bring his hilarious observations to Netflix in a new, hourlong special.

Jerry Before Seinfeld will see the comedian return to the intimate Comic Strip club that launched his career on September 19. Outside of the occasional late-night appearance, it's been way too long since we've seen Seinfeld perform stand-up on TV - almost 20 years. That deal also involves Seinfeld's show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee moving from Crackle to Netflix, with 24 new episodes premiering in 2017 and more coming in 2018, according to Variety.

Seinfeld's last stand-up outing was 1998's I'm Telling You for the Last Time, which aired shortly after the finale of the comedian's era-defining sitcom, Seinfeld.
