Xbox One X Pre-order Details Arrive This Sunday

Xbox One X seems to be following this trend with the Project Scorpio Edition being available for the first batch of Microsoft's new 6 Teraflop console.

Listings for a Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition were accidentally put on two German websites, and were quickly taken down. There is a lot of hype for the Xbox One X as it has been marketed to be the strongest and most powerful console that current technology has ever seen.

These Project Scorpio editions include a 1TB hard drive and feature the name "Project Scorpio" on both the console and controller. They're radioactive green and suggest an alternate universe in which the 90s never ended.

As many of you might already know, Xbox One X was initially known as Project Scorpio. There should be no reason as to why the day-one Project Scorpio edition should be more expensive. However, hopefully we will get a better look at the number of developers planning to support this new console. Back in 2013 when the original Xbox One was launched, it was accompanied by a limited edition which featured a unique controller. Although it has not been confirmed rumour has it that pre-orders will go live during, or very shortly after, the briefing.

Microsoft's Gamescom live stream will begin on Sunday at 9:00pm CEST or 12:00pm PDT on the main Xbox Mixer channel.

It appears that you will finally be able to pre-order the Xbox One X in a couple of days time with Microsoft set to announce plans at their Gamescom briefing on Sunday 20th August at 8pm BST. The standard model is scheduled to hit shelves on November 7 for $499.99.
