Separately, Tom Cruise, known for doing most of his own stunts, appeared to have been injured on the London set of his upcoming spy action movie "Mission: Impossible 6".

She died when a daring motorcycle sequence went fatally wrong while filming Deadpool 2 in Vancouver.

According to Harris' online bio, she started riding motorcycles in 2013 in Brooklyn and soon became the first African American woman licensed to compete in American Motorcyclist Association races. Harris was the stunt double for the character of Domino, played by Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), in the superhero sequel which stars Ryan Reynolds. ("I'm) not quite scared, but it crosses my mind at times, but a racer can't let it stop us". For the stunt, she was reportedly not wearing a helmet and crashed into a glass window. She had practiced the stunt successfully several times prior to the accident.

Her Facebook page notes the racer was still recovering from surgery in June for a broken wrist.
