A sunny Sunday with low humidity

We will see highs in the 80s for the majority of the week, and plenty of sunshine to go around.

According to the National Weather Service at State College, today will be sunny with a high near 81 and a light, north wind. Winds W at 5 to 10 miles per hour. A brief round of mostly dry conditions returns to the forecast, with highs in the low 80s on Sunday.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with increasing clouds in the afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center has also highlighted northwestern CT as a part of an area of "marginal risk" for severe-level wind and hail in a few thunderstorms.

Wednesday will have clouds and sun with a shower or storm possible. Highs will get back into the lower 90s, which is average for this time of the year.

Friday will be partly sunny with a high near 85 and a low around 67.

Monday and Tuesday will be a touch cooler but still very humid with more widely scattered rain and storms in the afternoon and overnight both days.

Wednesday|Showers possible in the afternoon.

More promising rain chances roll in for the first half of the brand new work week next week. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we still have sunny skies, but the high temperature climbs a bit each day.
